Hello
For me, counseling isn’t just a career, it’s something that changed my life. I first came to therapy as a hurting teenager, carrying more than I knew how to hold on my own. What stayed with me wasn’t a perfect set of answers, but the experience of having someone sit with me in the hard places, listen without judgment, and keep seeing my worth even when I couldn’t. That experience of someone making room for all of my story and not giving up on me is what led me into this work and shapes the way I show up as a therapist today. Because I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the room, I’m especially passionate about working with individuals who have lived through trauma, whether that’s abuse, betrayal, family and childhood wounds, or the quieter, ongoing hurts that others may have minimized. My hope is that our work together helps you feel seen and believed, deepen your self-compassion, and build a life that feels more aligned with who you are, not just what you’ve survived.
My Style
I’ll meet you where you are. No pressure, no agenda, just support for what’s most important to you. I strive to create a space that feels honest and human, a place where you don’t have to be “okay,” and where healing, choice, and possibility slowly start to feel more within reach. I believe you are the expert on your life and my role is to offer a steady, collaborative, compassionate space with evidence-based tools, moving at your pace and guided by your goals. Together, we will create a space that affirms your lived experiences and the resilience you already carry within.
I draw from trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches while always centering your voice and pacing. This might look like exploring thoughts and beliefs shaped by trauma through cognitive and narrative work, building coping strategies for moments that feel overwhelming, or strengthening boundaries and communication in relationships. No single technique is one-size-fits-all, so we’ll check in often about what’s helpful and adjust together as we go.
If you’ve been carrying so much for so long that you’re not even sure where to start, this space is for you. You don’t have to be “ready,” you don’t have to be over it, and you don’t have to do it alone. Just show up exactly as you are, and we will take the next steps together.
